Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor | £40,000–£48,000

This is an opportunity to join a close-knit property team where colleagues know each other, clients still come into the office, and there is room to shape what comes next.
A long-serving senior partner has retired. The firm is already turning commercial property work away and would welcome a lawyer who enjoys both residential conveyancing and building relationships with local business clients.
About the role

• Manage residential sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions.
• Handle commercial leases, sales and purchases, from local shops to higher-value matters.
• Work alongside an established property lawyer and secretarial colleagues, with support from the wider team.
• Help the firm take on more of the commercial property work coming its way.

What we are looking for

• A qualified solicitor or legal executive with around 2–3 years’ property experience or more.
• Confidence handling residential conveyancing and commercial property matters.
• Someone personable and practical who enjoys seeing clients face to face and getting on with the job.
