Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing?
A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Canterbury is looking for a driven and adaptable Commercial Property Legal Secretary to join its friendly property team.

The role Working within a close-knit team of four, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Partner and fee earners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Audio typing and digital dictation
- Opening and closing client files
- Preparing and producing property documentation
- Assisting with lease extensions and deeds
- Handling Stamp Duty Land Tax calculations and submissions
- Ordering property searches
- Obtaining documents and information from Companies House
- Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents and other third parties
- Coordinating the Partner’s diary and appointments
- Providing general administrative support to keep matters progressing efficiently
About you Previous experience within a property department is highly desirable, whether your background is in Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing.
You will ideally have:
- Previous Legal Secretary experience within property/conveyancing
- Strong audio typing and document-production skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills when dealing with clients and third parties
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy legal environment
- A proactive, adaptable and driven approach
- A professional and collaborative manner
