A highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants is looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join its growing team, offering varied client work, excellent development opportunities and hybrid working following probation.

About the role
The Assistant Accountant will join a supportive and experienced team, working with a varied portfolio of SME businesses and individuals.
The role will include:

• Preparing accounts and supporting a range of accounting assignments
• Completing Personal Tax work
• Working with a portfolio of SME businesses and individual clients
• Communicating regularly with clients
• Developing broader technical knowledge across Accounts and Tax

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant who already has Accountancy Practice experience and is looking to gain greater exposure to Personal Tax while progressing their career.

What we are looking for
The successful candidate will:

• Be part or fully AAT qualified
• Have recent experience within an Accountancy Practice
• Have experience across Accounts and/or Personal Tax
• Be keen to develop their knowledge and take on greater responsibility
• Have strong communication and client-facing skills
• Be organised and confident managing a varied workload
• Have a genuine desire to learn and progress
