An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join a growing and well-established accountancy practice in Swanley.

This is a newly created position following an increase in client work and offers an excellent mix of audit, accounts and advisory responsibilities.
Working closely with Managers and Directors, the successful candidate will enjoy plenty of responsibility while still having the support of an experienced team around them.
About the role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, the successful candidate will work across a varied client portfolio, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality accounts and audit work.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts across a varied client base
• Planning, leading and completing audit assignments
• Working closely with Managers and Directors throughout assignments
• Leading audit teams to deliver high-quality work
• Completing corporation tax processes for companies and groups
• Preparing management accounts, cash flows and budgets
• Undertaking ad hoc client projects
• Reviewing work and ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard
• Coaching and supporting trainees and semi-senior team members
• Managing deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Building strong professional relationships with clients

What we are looking for
The successful Audit & Accounts Senior will have a strong background within accountancy practice and experience across both audit and accounts.
They will ideally have:

• At least four years’ experience within accountancy practice
• A good mix of audit and accounts experience
• ACA/ACCA qualification, part qualification or qualification by experience
• Strong statutory accounts preparation experience
• Good knowledge of corporation tax
• A professional and client-focused approach
