An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join the Residential Leasehold team within a highly respected law firm with a strong reputation for developing its people.

This Residential Property Paralegal role offers an excellent opportunity to build specialist leasehold expertise while working alongside an experienced and supportive Residential Property team.

As a Residential Property Paralegal, responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting experienced fee earners with residential leasehold transactions from instruction through to completion, preparing legal documentation, progressing files and ensuring matters move forward efficiently.
  • Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, managing agents, freeholders, lenders and solicitors, providing updates and delivering an excellent standard of client care throughout each transaction.
  • Reviewing leasehold documentation, raising enquiries, requesting management information packs, maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring compliance procedures are completed.
  • Assisting with exchange and completion preparations, organising legal documentation, managing diaries and supporting the team with administrative and legal tasks across a varied caseload.
  • Developing technical knowledge within residential leasehold property, with the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility, progress towards fee-earning work and eventually manage an independent caseload

About you
Whether already working as a Residential Property Paralegal or bringing transferable experience from property management or block management, this role provides a genuine pathway towards managing a caseload and progressing a long-term legal career.

  • Previous experience within residential property, conveyancing, block management or property management.
  • A genuine interest in residential leasehold work and developing a career within property law.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and client care skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, positive approach and willingness to learn.
