Working within a busy Residential Property team, the successful candidate will provide valuable support across a range of conveyancing matters, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with some previous experience who is keen to continue developing their career.

About the role
As a Residential Property Paralegal, the successful candidate will work closely with fee earners and the wider property team, helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly and clients receive an excellent level of service.
Responsibilities are likely to include:

• Supporting fee earners with residential sales and purchases
• Opening files and carrying out initial client administration
• Preparing and issuing contract documentation
• Ordering and reviewing property searches
• Obtaining title documents and Land Registry information
• Assisting with enquiries and preparing relevant documentation
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, lenders and other parties
• Providing clients with regular updates on the progress of their transaction
• Assisting with exchange and completion preparations
• Handling post-completion administration where required
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date files
• Providing general support to the busy Residential Property team

What we are looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience within residential conveyancing
• Experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Conveyancing Assistant or similar
• A good understanding of the conveyancing process
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Confident and professional communication skills
• A friendly, approachable and client-focused manner
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

Extensive experience is not essential. This could suit someone who has already gained a good grounding in residential conveyancing and is now looking for their next opportunity within a supportive team.
