Leading Tunbridge Wells and West Malling based recruitment business TN Recruits and ME Recruits has announced its forever charity as Taylor Made Dreams, a charity founded and based in Crowborough that provides children with life-limiting illnesses support in achieving their bucket list.
Founded by Suzi Mitchell in 2012 after helping her own son Taylor fulfil his bucket list, the organisation became a registered charity in 2014 and now has Comedian John Bishop as its patron.
TN Recruits has been on a growth mission of late and last year launched a new branch ME Recruits to replicate the successful Tunbridge Wells model and source office-based staff in and around the ME postcode too. Founder and MD Neil Simmons said:
“One of the first things we wanted to sort when we scaled up was our own charity partnership. Giving back to our local community is something all of us feel strongly about and the story behind Taylor Made Dreams together with its amazing work, perfectly matches our business values of commitment, passion and empathy. We could not be more delighted to start planning our fundraising calendar. Watch this space.”
Neil and his colleagues welcomed Suzi in to present to the business and all were moved and motivated to get stuck into fundraising together as a team. Over the coming months and years, they are planning a number of events and activities, partnering with suppliers and clients to raise as much money as possible. The TN Recruits team already participated in the SoapBox Challenge for Taylor Made Dreams last month, raising £1,830.
Suzi said: “We are thrilled that TN Recruits has decided to support Taylor Made Dreams for its charity partnership. This sort of support is vital to being able to carry out our mission statement to help children with life limiting illnesses carry out their bespoke wishes while also being there for the families. We are proud to have helped many of our children go on once in a lifetime holidays, meet their celebrity idols or even become a bus conductor for the day if that is their goal.
We also source and financially aid the families with professional counsellors and holistic therapists to support their emotional wellbeing in sensitive and difficult circumstances. The support of businesses like TN Recruits will enable us to reach more children’s goals and support more families. We met Neil through BNI Tunbridge Wells which demonstrates the power of local business networks helping each other out for the greater good.”
